Dear Bonita Center for the Arts Patrons,
Bonita Unified School District (BUSD) staff and administration continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and update our response based on information we receive from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health), the California Department of Education (CDE), and the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE). Our primary concern is the health and safety of our students, staff, and families in BUSD.
The Department of Public Health in Los Angeles County has provided guidance to all school districts throughout the county to limit close contact to congregated or group programming. BUSD is committed to doing our part in preventing and/or limiting the spread of COVID-19 within our communities.
All programming has been suspended through Ju;ly, 2020 at which time, the situation will be re-evaluated.
We want to reassure you that we are doing all we can to proactively protect the health and safety of our staff and students. We are working closely with Federal, State, and County health officials to make sure that we make informed decisions regarding our schools and our communities. Together, we will make it a priority to keep our students and staff healthy and our school facilities safe.
Thank you for your support and understanding as we all work through this evolving situation.
Be safe. Be healthy.
